What is Google Analytics?

Google Analytics (GA) is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website.

So basically you sign up, creating a Google account, and then receive some code to place on every page of your website (or more likely a server side include – usually a job for your web master).  This allows Google to track visits to your site which you can then analyse with the tools provided.

      Firstly, you’ll need to check that your blogging platform supports Google Analytics. For example, wordpress.com does not, but it does provide an alternative means of reporting stats.

      If your blog does then it should be a simple matter of pasting some javascript, provided by Google, into your blog. Usually the footer or some other area which is included in all your pages.

        my blog is from wordpres.com so..no google analytics for me
